When wiring a building, knowing which cable leads to which connection and where cabling runs is very important. The cable tracker consists of a signal generator and a highly sensitive receiver. The signaller is connected and sends a low-frequency signal through the cable. The receiver follows the cable using radiation. The signal generator can also activate the port LED of the hub or switch by flashing and thus enables quick mapping of the connection.
The NC-500 tests not only the networks and coaxial cables for correct wiring, but can also determine cable lengths by using the TDR-technology. The device is easy to use through the illuminated touch-screen display. Together with the accessories set NC-510 up to 8 network cables can be assigned uniquely. The NC-500 can feed additional different tones in the testing leads. Together with the optionally available test probe 200XP, these lines can be localised quickly.
Universal test set for searching for hidden cables and wires under the plaster in walls, floors and ground or for locating a wire in a cable strand. Easy localisation of fuses, sockets, short-circuits or interruptions. The Line Tracer supports you in solving the problems in electrical systems, telecommunication and computer networks. The set comprises of a transmission unit (T10K) and a receiver unit (R10K). The signal fed can be followed with the receiver.
