The useable frequency range of the new spectrum analysers HM 5012-2 and HM 5014-2 stretches from 150 kHz to 1.05 GHz. As resolution bandwidths 9 kHz, 120 kHz and 1 MHz are available. The synthesiser controlled frequency generation (DDS) is new with increased frequency stability through a TCXO reference oscillator. It enables an extremely accurate and repeatable frequency setting, which can be set either numerically with the keyboard or incrementally with a rotary dial. The remaining functions can be changed with rotary dial or directly with the keyboard. The spectrum is digitised and saved in real time.
