of the Powersaver makes
the manual switch-off
(device switch) or
pulling the plug
redundant. Upon the
detection of the standby
mode, it independently
disconnects your
electrical appliances,
such as TV, from the
mains. After the IR
remote control is
activated, the device
turns on again. TVs,
VCRs, satellite
receivers and stereo
systems in standby mode
consume electricity.
Depending upon the
device, this consumption
lies between 0.1 - 20
watt. Assuming a 20 h
stand-by mode during the
day, one can reckon with
an annual consumption of
up to 105. - €; *
