The TP-LINK TL-WA730RE
WLAN Repeater has been
developed to create
extended WLAN networks
with wider coverage and
greater range by
establishing a WLAN
infrastructure instead of
using multiple cables.
The repeater mode is used
as the default WLAN mode.
The device acts like a
relay station taking WLAN
signals from a base
router or a network
access point and boosting
them flawlessly to areas
which were previously
unreachable or difficult
to wire. It also has an
Auto-Repeater-Function,
which configures the
device immediately to the
strongest unsecured WLAN
when the repeater button
on the outside is pushed.
Better yet, it is not
only in a position to
reach the maximum power
of IEEE802.11n products,
but it also achieves a
speed of 54Mbps in
connection with
IEEE802.11g products.

Wireless N Speed &
Range
As it meets the
IEEE802.11n standard,
you can build a WLAN with
the TL-WA730RE that
achievs up to 9 times the
speed and 4 times the
range of the conventional
11g-products. With
transfer rates of up to
150Mbps it enhances
performance, giving you
a totally new browsing
experience, even while
exchanging files,
streaming videos and
internet calling.

Repeater Mode -
Signalbooster
The TL-WA730RE from
TP-Link is designed so
that the repeater mode is
the default WLAN-mode,
which acts as a signal
amplifier for forwarding
the WLAN signal, and
increasing the WLAN
range. This overcomes
barriers and improves the
general network signal
quality. It can also be
used in the conventional
access point mode and via
switch or non-WLAN router
to access the Internet,
enabling the WLAN and the
wired networks to connect
with each other.

Connection at the
Touch of a Button
The TL-WA730RE has a
repeater button which,
when held down for about
5 seconds, can form a
WLAN connection with the
unsecured network. The
connection process is
child's play, as the
device configures itself
automatically.

Fully Compatible with
54 Mbps Products
The WLAN repeater
TL-WA730RE from TP-Link
is fully
IEEE802.11g-compatible
with products such as
routers, access points
and adapters, and
achieves its full 54 Mbps
speed and maximum power
when connected with
802.11g products. Since
the development of the
IEEE802.11n products is
rapidly advancing, the
TL-WA730RE saves not only
your current 54 Mbps
investments, but it also
prepares your WLAN for
IEEE802.11n.

WPA/ WPA2 Encryption
