When the control voltage is turned on the relay switches and doesn't switch back until the predetermined time period is over. The set time starts when the operating voltage is received if the encode plug is set to time delay (relay stays at rest). The relay switches after the delay is over.

For many switching jobs an output pulse of a certain duration is often needed when the switch is triggered. The time range (switching time of the relay) can be continuously adjusted from approx. 0 to 10 s with a trim-pot. The circuit has two individual monostable multivibrators. This circuit is, for example, useful for controlling roller blinds (together with a twilight switch or a timer switch).
The relay is either switched on or off later when it receives operating voltage according to the setting on the decode switch. The delayed-action can be continuously adjusted from approx. 0.5 to 150 s with a trim-pot. The delayed-action can be extended when a larger electrolytic capacitor is used.
With this kit you can turn on devices in a timely fashion. As soon as the ON button is press, the relay is switched for a selected period from approx. 300 ms to approx. 100 s. After the time is up the relay switches back. To switch the relay back earlier simply press the reset button. The duration can be lengthened to the hour range by exchanging an electrolytic capacitor.
