Therefore, according to EIA 485-Standard and DMX 512-Specification these CDMX cables are with a conductor cross section of at least 0.22 mm² (AWG 24). A double shielding as demanded by PLASA and USITT, is reached by the combination of foil and network screen and gives the CDMX an additionally high tensile strength. This cable reahed at a baud rate of 250 kHz ensure the required wave resistance between 100 and 120 Ohm, and is therefore uniformly for the transmission of DMX and AES/EBU signals.
