Zero-compromise universal programmer with 48 pins for development, service and mobile use with USB 2.0 connection. GALEP-5 is an extremely fast pocket-sized universal programmer. It is used mainly in development, service and the unique opportunity offered by mobile component programming. Thanks to its short programming times, GALEP-5 can however also be used in production. GALEP-5 is a real universal talent and a professional programming device available for an incredibly low price. High-speed programming: The programming algorithms run on an internal 200 MIPS ARM-9 processor under Embedded Linux. The processor uses an FPGA to directly control the pin driver and thereby ensure optimum adaptation of the components to the programming algorithms. Programming times are similar to the shortest possible times for the components. The internal 64 MB RAM even saves all the data for larger components in the device. During multiple programming, the data only has to be transferred once. 48 universal pin driver: A pin driver chip developed for the GALEP series ensures optimum signal quality for the component awaiting programming. The following signals are provided at each of the 48 pins: Logic output: high level of 1.3 V to 5.0 V can be set. Logic input: switching threshold of 0.5 to 5.0 V can be set. Three independent programming voltages of up to 25 V, ground. 3 different switchable loads each for pullup and pulldown. Adjustable cycle rates. GALEP-5 supports: "in-system programming" and JTAG. Operation without power adapter: GALEP-5 is supplied with all its power requirements by the PC's USB port. Neither batteries nor a power adapter are usually needed. Safety: Power consumption, the right position and the contacting of all pins on the component are automatically checked before any action. The possibility of destroying a component or device through incorrect operations is therefore virtually elimina...
GALEP-IV is a pocket-sized professional universal programming device. And independently developed ASIC pin driver offers a numerous range of options that are normally only found on expensive top-of-the-range devices: GALEP can program EPROMs, EEPROMs, Flash-EPROMs, serial EEPROMs, microcontrollers, GALs and PALCEs without the need for additional adapters or expansion boards. Low-voltage modules up to 1.3 V are supported. GALEP is not much larger than a computer mouse (115 x 80 x 33 mm). If you need to operate the device without a power supply, you can use batteries to run it for up to 8 hours, making the device extremely portable. It is simply connected to the printer port on a PC or laptop computer. In addition to basic functions such as reading, programming, synchronizing and deleting, the software provides user-friendly configuration options for the special functions of the selected module. The Editor program provides a number of options for editing the code in the module, which can be loaded or saved in binary, Intel hex, Motorola-S or Jedec file formats. The power consumption and correct position of the component is tested before each action. This makes it almost impossible to damage a component or the device through misuse. COM objects also allow GALEP to be controlled by your own programs, e.g. those written in Visual Basic. New components can be downloaded into the application for free, ensuring that GALEP is kept up-to-date for the years to come. GALEP's unparalled flexibility is made possible because of the special hardware it uses. All pins on the 40-pin programming socket are equal and provide three seperately configurable voltages up to 25 V, ground, clock, configurable pull-up / pull-down resistors as well as logic on-outputs with bidirectional level shifters for low-voltage modules. The internal logic of GALEP is freely programmable using a highly integrated FPGA and is optimized for each selected module. This allows all components to be programmed o...
The programmer is compatible with Infinity USB/Phoenix/Smartmouse/AVR-SPIprog/PIC-JDMprog and has 5 operating modes: USB for extremely fast programming of all chip cards with PIC and ATMEL microcontrollers. Phoenix for programming forgery-proof chip cards (Titanium, OPOScard, Platinum, Knotcard etc.). Smartmouse for GSM cards for mobile phones. PIC-JDM and AVR-SPI for compatibility with the freeware frequently based on serial interfaces. The two interfaces, SIM reading devices and programming modes make the CAR-07 a very versatile programmer. The software provided with the CAR-07 allows for automatic detection of the chip card inserted and editing of its processor register. The voltage supply is provided by the USB port.
CAR-06 is a USB-Smartcard-Programmer with extraordinary card recognition functions. On the basis of the USB-port and with a fast processor it supports all the common Smartcards and enables a high-quality programming. The connection with the PC is made via the USB-interface (USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 - thus safe for the future and also suitable for Notebooks). The voltage supply is also done from there. If the Programmer is not working, a changeover is made automatically to standby - only 0.06 Watt consumption!
The GALEP-5D-60 is a high-end programming device for production and development. Its modular concept, its USB and network-connection and its "standalone"-capability make it a modular concept for all programming tasks in laboratory and production. The programming device of the size of a briefcase weighs only 750 g. GALEP-5D has been trimmed without any compromise on speed. For programming and communication there is an internal 200 MIPS ARM-9 RISC-processor under Linux, which controls the 60 pin-driver via an FPGA. The FPGA (freely programmable logic) contains pulse generator, buffer storage and state machines for hardware acceleration of the programme algorithms. In this way time-critical components can be programmed in a speed, which could not be achieved by software alone. The Ethernet-port permits a data transfer theoretically at up to 100 MB/s. The internal 128 MB RAM stores the data even for larger components in the device the data needs to be transmitted only once even in case of multiple programming. An in-house developed pin-driver chip guarantees the optimum signal quality for the component to be programmed, permits the small dimensions (L x B x H 172 x 118 x 22 mm) and the low power consumption.
