Coffee is Tanzania's largest exported crop, with plantations dedicated to the cultivation of both robusta &, more often, arabica beans located across area in North Kilimanjaro, the Usambara Mountains, Morogoro, Kigoma, Ngara & other high-yielding regions. Our medium strength Tanzania coffee is shade-grown, a process that involves planting coffee under the canopy of specially selected trees, in this case banana trees, which lowers the risk that the plants & beans will burn in the higher temperatures before being harvested. Our Tanzania is roasted to perfection on order, giving a beautiful flavour & a mild acidity, making it ideal for filter coffees & cafetiere use.
