LOCATION The house is found at the entrance to Woodcot on Cliff Road, within just a few minutes walk of central Salcombe. There are a number of popular restaurants, cosy pubs, boutiques, art galleries, cafes and gardens within easy reach, as well as a range of water-based activities & sports on the famous estuary nearby. The East Portlemouth passenger ferry (within a 5-7 minute walk) runs to & from the town throughout the year to the sandy beaches on the opposite side of the towns stunning harbour.
ENTRANCE There is level access from the driveway to a large oak entrance door, leading into a spacious hallway & access to all bedrooms & bathrooms. A magnificent oak & glass staircase leads up to the living accommodation at first floor level.
BEDROOMS The four very tastefully furnished boutique bedrooms on the ground floor all have lovely estuary views & direct access (via French doors) to the stone terrace at the front of the house. The rooms are individually styled & decorated but all have beautiful oak flooring with under-floor heating. The master en suite bedroom has a sumptuous super-King bed, bedside tables, fitted wardrobes & shelving. There is also a wall mounted TV. The elegant, contemporary en suite bathroom has a freestanding bath (with h&-held shower), double vanity unit with granite top, large walk-in shower (with overhead ceiling mounted & h&-held showers), w.c, heated towel rail, & under-floor heating. The second (slightly larger) en suite bedroom is similarly presented & furnished with a super-King size bed, but has a large walk-in shower (with overhead ceiling mounted & h&-held showers), basin/vanity unit, w.c, heated towel rail & under-floor heating. has a larger A third double has an ornate King-size bed, bedside tables & fitted wardrobes, whilst the fourth bedroom is a twin with full size single beds, bedside table & fitted wardrobes. N.B. All duvets, pillows, high quality Egyptian cotton bed linen, bath & hand towels & welcome gifts of luxury toiletries are supplied.
BATHROOMS In addition to the two en suites above is a lovely family bathroom on the ground floor. This room features a bath & vanity unit each with marble surround, walk-in shower, wash-hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail, & under-floor heating. There is also a large wet room (accessed via the garage) ideal for freshening up sailors & sandy children returning from the beach!
DINING/SITTING ROOM The spectacular open plan living accommodation on the first floor has panoramic views of the Salcombe estuary across towards Mill Bay & East Portlemouth beaches, & out to sea. This spacious & elegantly presented area has light oak flooring throughout & a high vaulted ceiling with skylights plus large picture windows to create a bright & sunny environment for relaxing or entertaining. The very sociable sitting area has two large sofas, cushioned window seating, chairs, desk, contemporary storage & built-in shelving, coffee table, widescreen smart TV with B&W surround sound system, DVD/ Blu-ray player,  full Sky HD package & Sonos digital music system with Spotify. There is a library of movies for you to choose from. A sliding glass door leads out to the elevated terrace area beyond. A further set of stairs lead up from the dining area to an open SNUG/GAMING room at mezzanine level, furnished with a leather sofa, chair, bean bags, wall-mounted TV, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Sonos sound bar & full Sky HD package. There is a selection of games for you to choose from.
KITCHEN A fully fitted luxury Bulthaup kitchen features a large central island with smooth Silestone worktop cleverly constructed to include a Siemens induction hob, sink, integrated dishwasher & breakfast bar (with four stools).
