Product Description

LOCATION The cottage is in Fore Street, offering immediate level access to Salcombe's famous waterfront, boutiques, cafes & restaurants. The East Portlemouth passenger ferry (within a two minute walk) runs to & from the town throughout the year to the sandy beaches on the opposite side of the town. BOAT STORE With space for one small RIB, canoe, SUP or similar sized boat.  Access to slipway for launching via ' The Salcombe' car park. VIEWS The property has superb views of the main anchorage & across towards East Portlemouth & South Pool Creek from most rooms, as well as the ground floor balcony. ENTRANCE The cottage is accessed directly from Fore Street at ground floor level. The small entrance lobby opens into the sitting room to one side & kitchen/dining room to the other. SITTING ROOM A cosy & attractively furnished sitting room with delightful views has a double sofa, armchairs, TV/DVD player, radio, gas fire, & door out to balcony. KITCHEN/DINING ROOM A lovely cottage kitchen has a range of fitted units, attractive worktops, four ring ceramic hob & double oven, microwave, fridge & dishwasher (a full-size freezer & washing machine are housed in the boat store at basement level where there is also a 'sheila maid' for drying wet clothes). The dining area has a pine table seating six chairs comfortably. BEDROOMS Three in total. On the first floor is a double bedroom with King-size bed, wardrobe & newly refurbished en suite shower room (fully tiled with shower cubicle, wash-hand basin, heated towel rail & w.c.). The second bedroom is a twin with two single pine-framed beds, bedside units & TV/DVD
- this room also has direct access to the en suite bathroom above.  There is a further twin room (with restricted height in places) at the lower ground floor level, with pine-framed single beds & drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels are supplied
- tenants just need to bring beach & tea towels. BABY FRIENDLY EQUIPMENT A travel cot, bed guard, high chair & stairgate are available. Small cutlery & plastic beakers & plates are provided. BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a family bathroom at lower ground floor level with bath, h&-held shower, w.c. & wash-hand basin. OUTSIDE Small balcony with two chairs & table, overlooking the estuary. PARKING Allocated parking for one car within the secure neighbouring car park at ' The Salcombe'. OTHER INFORMATION Mostly carpet throughout with wooden flooring in the kitchen. Gas fired heating & instant hot water via combination boiler. Strictly no smoking or pets permitted. Wireless broadband internet available.
