Product Description

LOCATION The property is set on the very edge of the South Devon coastline, just 30m or so from (the dog friendly) Thurlestone Sands beach & the South Devon Coast Path.  The village of Thurlestone, with its 4-Star hotel, pub, post office/store & challenging links golf course is within a pleasant 10-15 minute walk, whilst the sailing town of Salcombe is just 5 miles away. VIEWS Delightful sea views across & beyond the famous Thurlestone Rock from most rooms in the house, & from the front garden. ENTRANCE From the driveway a level entrance leads into a lobby area off which is a CLOAKROOM with w.c. & basin, & SNUG/PLAYROOM with double sofa, flat screen TV and feature fireplace. SITTING ROOM A comfortably furnished room with two new double sofas, flat-screen TV, DVD player, working open fire, lovely views & door out to the terrace & garden. DINING ROOM With large wooden table, chairs & bench seating, sideboard, bookshelves, iPod dock, & door to garden KITCHEN  The kitchen area has fitted units, four-ring electric hob & oven, fridge, dishwasher,   microwave, & breakfast table with stools, there is also a large larder cupboard with fridge freezer & additional storage space. The adjacent UTILITY ROOM has a sink, washing machine, tumble dryer, & access to the ground floor shower room.  Door out to the rear garden. BEDROOMS Five in total (accommodating a maximum of 8 adults), all on the first floor.  The master bedroom has a King-size bed, bedside units, fitted wardrobe, drawers, basin & stunning views.  The second bedroom has a King-size bed with wool mattress, there is also a  fitted wardrobe, drawers, basin, & very good views.  The spacious third bedroom has two single beds, bedside tables, fitted wardrobe & basin.  The fourth & fifth bedrooms have bunks & a single respectively N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied. The bedding is made from wool & provided by www.thewoolroom.com. BATH/SHOWER ROOMS On the ground floor is a shower room with shower, w.c. & wash-hand basin.  On the first floor is a family bathroom with Victorian roll-top bath, shower cubicle, w.c., wash-hand basin & heated towel rail (plus an additional, separate w.c.) BABY FRIENDLY EQUIPMENT A travel cot, baby bath, highchair & children's games are supplied. OUTSIDE To the front & rear of the house are delightful, mature gardens with extensive areas of lawn. A small, private terrace has a table,  chairs and barbeque. PARKING There is plenty of off-road parking for 3-4 cars plus boat/trailer etc. OTHER INFORMATION Dark wooden flooring with Nepalese rugs in most rooms with some tiled areas.   Electric night storage heating with hot water by economy 7.  Wireless broadband internet available.  Strictly no smokers.   Two well behaved pets permitted.
