A water ferry service runs from South Sands to Salcombe every 30 minutes throughout the season, but for those who prefer to walk, the picturesque town is a scenic 25-30 minute stroll away, with North Sands beach & The Winking Prawn restaurant conveniently situated for refreshments along the way!

The Property

As it can also be presented (by arrangement & at restricted periods only) as two delightful four bedroomed apartments, known as Peninsula & Penthouse, the property benefits from additional facilities including two well-equipped kitchen/dining areas & two separate living rooms, which offer space & flexibility for larger parties & extended family gatherings.

On the ground floor level is a large area of gravelled terrace extending out to wooden decking overlooking the beach & out to sea. A large wooden table with bench seating accommodates all guests comfortably. In addition two private pathways within the grounds provide direct access to South Sands beach (Please note that BBQ's and/or open fires are not permitted at Oversteps House).
THE HOBBIT HOUSE Located Approx. half way down to the beach is a very special little beach house with toilet, sink, shower, small fridge, tea making facilities, day bed & outdoor furniture (including two sun-loungers) the perfect spot to watch the world go by...
PARKING Ample off-road parking for 4-6 cars (maximum of 2 cars permitted if Penthouse apartment is booked for a party of 8 or fewer).
OTHER INFORMATION All duvets, pillows, linen & towels are provided but guests will need to bring beach towels. REN toiletries provided in bathrooms. Mostly wooden flooring throughout, with carpet in the majority of bedrooms. An oil fired boiler supplies hot water & central heating. Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking permitted. Up to 2 small well-behaved dogs are welcome dependant on breed, & with owners consent at an additional cost of £10.00 per dog per day
