A small passenger ferry runs from nearby pontoons to the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth & Millbay on the opposite side of the harbour, whilst the South Sands ferry offers a lovely 10-15 minute trip along the estuary to the beach & boutique hotel of the same name! VIEWS Excellent views from the sitting room, master & twin bedrooms across & over Whitestrand to the Salcombe estuary beyond. ENTRANCE A secure gate at street level opens to a flight of stone steps, which in turn lead up to the entrance landing & apartment front door. KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM The elegantly presented kitchen has a range of sleek modern units & worktop, four-ring electric hob, integrated double oven, fridge/freezer & dishwasher. A glass topped breakfast table has four chairs. SITTING/DINING ROOM A delightful, light & bright open plan living space has a sitting area with two beautiful Ercol double sofas, coffee table, flatscreen TV, DVD player & contemporary wood-burning stove. The room features a large picture window with lovely views over Fore Street, Whitestrand & the harbour. The dining area has a large wooden table seating six comfortably. BEDROOMS Three in total, all on the second floor (upper level). The master bedroom features a King size bed, bedside unit, matching wardrobe & drawers, CD/radio, & has estuary views. The adjacent twin room has two wooden framed single beds, bedside units, fitted wardrobes & similar views over Whitestr&. The third bedroom has a King size bed with fitted wardrobes & chest of drawers. All duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels are provided. Tenants will require beach & tea towels. BATH/SHOWER ROOMS On the lower level is delightful shower room with corner cubicle, electric power shower, w.c., wash-hand basin & heated towel rail, whilst on the top floor is a good-sized family bathroom with bath, electric power shower (over), w.c., wash-hand basin & heated towel rail. OUTSIDE To the side of the property (accessed between floors) is a superb terrace balcony with glass & stainless steel railings. The area, which attracts afternoon & early evening sunshine, is attractively furnished with large L-shaped garden sofa & matching chair. PARKING A seasonal parking pass is provided for the long stay car park from 1st April to 30th September 2017.is provided for the long stay car park, approx. 5-7 mins walk away.
