Product Description

LOCATION Old Mill Creek is an idyllic tidal inlet just off the main River Dart estuary Approx. a mile or so from the historic naval town of Dartmouth.  Small boats can be launched at high tide with Dartmouth, Dittisham & Totnes all within easy reach.  Dartmouth's array of boutiques, restaurants & tea rooms, as well as the picturesque River Dart are all accessible within a (steep) 20-30 minute walk, or about 5 minutes in the car, whilst the award winning Blackpool Sands beach is just a short drive away.  Woodlands Theme Park & Dartmouth Golf & Country Club are just 3-4 miles away VIEWS stunning views from the sitting room over the creek & surrounding woodl&. ENTRANCE The main entrance leads directly into the kitchen & ground floor living area. KITCHEN/SITTING/DINING ROOM A spacious open plan, sunny & very well presented room with high vaulted ceilings & original cross beams.  The stunning kitchen is very well equipped,   with high gloss units, granite worktops, range cooker with five-ring halogen hob & two fan electric ovens, a large SMEG fridge with ice box, integrated dishwasher, washing machine & microwave.  The cosy sitting area has two cream leather sofas, leather armchair & footstool, flat-screen TV with Freesat recorder box & DVD player, & large wood-burning stove (logs supplied for first fire).  The room opens into a spacious & very well presented dining area with light oak  table, spacious oak side board for storage & six high backed leather chairs.  BEDROOMS Three in total.  The en suite master bedroom  (at lower ground floor level) has a King size bed, bedside units, wardrobes, drawers, large flat screen wall mounted  TV with Freesat, & French sliding doors out to a private decking area with loungers & seating & access to upper/rear terrace.  Four stairs lead up to an open-plan raised bathroom, enclosed with clear glass balustrade & beautiful black porcelain floor tiles.  The en suite has a luxurious corner bath with h&-held shower, wash-hand basin, heated towel rail & discretely hidden w.c.  On the ground floor are two further bedrooms each with high vaulted ceilings & original cross beams.  One bedroom is a double with King size metal framed bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, drawers, chaise longue & wall mounted flat screen TV with Freesat, whilst the second is a twin with two metal framed divan single beds, bedside table, drawers, wardrobe & wall mounted flat TV with Freesat.   All these beds have memory foam mattresses.   On the lower ground floor there is a further shower/bedroom suite with full size bunk beds (for children only), wardrobe, drawers & TV with Freesat. N.B.  Mill Grange can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults & 2 children. Duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied. SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite bathroom (above) there are two further shower rooms.  On the first floor is an elegant, fully tiled room with electric under floor heating, high vaulted ceiling, exposed beams, large walk-in shower, fixed rain head & h&-held showers, wash-hand basin with large mirrored lighted cabinet over & w.c.  On the lower ground floor is a shower/bedroom (bunk room)suite with shower cubicle, wash-hand basin & w.c. OUTSIDE To the front of the Mill is a good-sized terrace area with table & two chairs to enjoy the pretty views over Old Mill Creek. (2 additional folding chairs are kept under the bed in twin room for additional seating inside or outside). To the side/rear is a larger terrace ideal for al fresco dining & late sunny evenings.  Garden table with large benches & chairs plus built-in barbeque available. In addition there is a large private decking area adjoining the master bedroom suite at lower ground floor level. PARKING For three cars in front (and to the left) of the wooden garage area 50m from cottage. OTHER INFORMATION Beautiful wooden flooring throughout the ground floor.  The stairs & lower ground floor bedrooms are fully carpeted.  The cottage is fully double-glazed & enjoys the benefits of oil-fired central heating & hot water.  Wireless broadband internet & telephone are available.  Strictly no smokers or pets permitted.
