LOCATION Courtenay Street is a narrow road running parallel to Fore Street & the town centre, just a minute or so walk from Salcombe's shops, restaurants & stunning waterfront
- small passenger ferries run regularly from Salcombe harbour to the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth & South Sands nearby. The property backs onto Courtenay Park, which has swings, slide & other games for younger children.KITCHEN/DINING/SITTING ROOM The entrance hallway leads into the open-plan living accommodation with polished oak flooring throughout. The fully fitted kitchen has a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher & wine cooler. A large glass dining table seats eight comfortably. The cosy sitting room has two large sofas, widescreen TV with Freeview, DVD/CD player & feature fireplace with electric stove. To the rear of the cottage (adjacent to the kitchen) is a UTILITY ROOM with washing machine & tumble drier. In addition there is a CLOAKROOM with w.c & wash-hand basin.BEDROOMS Four in total. On the first floor is an en suite double room with King-size bed, bedside units & door onto the decked terrace. The en suite has a shower, w.c. & wash-hand basin. There is a further double room at this level also with King-size bed, beside tables, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe & dressing table. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms, each with two single beds. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels supplied
- tenants need to bring beach & tea towels.BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite shower room there is a family bathroom on the first floor with bath, separate shower, wash-hand basin & w.c. There is also a shower room with w.c. & wash-hand basin adjacent to the second floor bedrooms.OUTSIDE A passageway at the side of the cottage offers access to the back door & with steps leading upto the lower decked terrace with further steps leading up to a paved terrace with garden furniture, chiminea & Weber barbecue. PARKING* A parking permit is provided for the long-stay car park.OTHER INFORMATION Gas-fired central heating & hot water. Telephone available for incoming & local calls only. Wireless broadband internet available. Strictly no smoking or pets permitted.
