Product Description

Net of Hardwood Logs Netted hardwood logs are long burning & great value logs, which are ideal for burning on open fires. These hardwood logs are sold as seasoned, & although they can be burnt on an open fire straight away, we always advise that for even better results these logs be allowed even more time to dry in a log store before burning on a multi-fuel stove or roomheater. Hardwood logs are sourced fom responsibly managed woodlands. They produce a good heat, & burn with a long & pleasant flame. Homefire Hardwood logs have a moisture content of between 30-45%. For ready to burn fuels suitable for multi fuel stoves, we recommend either kiln dried logs, or a smokeless coal. FSC guarantees that the trees that are harvested are replaced or allowed to regenerate naturally. FSC is the only wood certification scheme endorsed by the major environmental charities, including WWF, Greenpeace & The Woodland Trust.
