Topal Antacid Tablets Topal Antacid Tablets is used to relieve discomfort resulting from the effects of acid on the lining of the stomach or gullet (oesophagus) in conditions such as heartburn, acid indigestion (dyspepsia), gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining), reflux oesophagitis (stomach acid coming into the gullet) & hiatus hernia (part of the stomach coming into the chest). Ingredients The active ingredients are Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel (30mg), Magnesium Carbonate (40mg) & Alginic Acid (200mg). The tablets also contain Sucrose, Lactose, Silica Gel, Polyvidone, Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Magnesium Stearate, Caramel flavour, Vanillin & Strawberry flavour. Directions The usual dose for Topal Antacid Tablets in adults is 1 to 3 tablets 4 times daily after meals with the last dose at bedtime. In children, the dose is half to one & a half tablets 4 times a day after meals with the last dose at bedtime. Check with your doctor before giving Topal Antacid Tablets to a child.
