- 36 Throat Lozenges Strepsils Cool lozenges provide effective pain relief from the discomfort of sore throats. For the sharper pain associated with a medium to more troublesome sore throat, Strepsils Extra Blackcurrant Throat Lozenges have key active ingredient for effective pain relief. Each Strepsils throat lozenges contain Hexylresorcinol
- active ingredient which is both antiseptic to fight bacterial infection but also has anaesthetic properties for pain relief. Directions Strepsils Extra Blackcurrant throat lozenges are suitable for adults & children of 6 years & over, adults & the elderly: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 3 hours as required. Do not take more than 12 throat lozenges in any 24 hour period. Do not give to children under 6 years of age. Do not exceed stated dose. For oral administration only. Remember children can choke on lozenges. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed below, do not use this product. This product is unsuitable if you are intolerant to carbohydrate. May occasionally cause allergic reactions including asthma. This is more common if you are allergic to aspirin. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you take too many lozenges, if symptoms persist or if anything unusual happens, or if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Strepsils Extra Blackcurrant
