Hayfever affects about 2 in 10 people in the United Kingdom & the incidence is increasing. Children & young adults are the most commonly affected age groups. Early phase symptoms include rhinorrhea (nasal discharge), sneezing & itching. Late phase symptoms include nasal congestion. Directions Adults & children aged 5 & over: One spray into each nostril twice daily. Rhinolast Allergy 0.1 w/v Nasal Spray should not be used continuously for longer than 4 weeks without a consultation with a doctor. Ingredients Each spray contains 0.14mg azelastine hydrochloride. Also contains: hypromellose, disodium edetate, citric acid anhydrous, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate & water. Cautions Proven allergy against azelastine hydrochloride. Not to be used to relieve the symptoms of Upper Respiratory Tract Infection. Use in pregnancy & lactation: Experience of use in pregnancy is limited. Due to the nasal route of administration & the low dose administered, minimal systemic exposure can be expected. However, caution should be exercised with use during pregnancy & lactation. Do not refrigerate or store below 8C. Keep out of reach & sight of children.
