Propain Caplets Propain Caplets are for the short term treatment of acute moderate pain which is not relieved by paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone. You should only take this product for a maximum of three days at a time. If you need to take it for longer than three days you should see your pharmacist or doctor for advice. Propain's easy to swallow caplets are a powerful combination analgesic that offers fast, effective, multi-symptom relief from a migraine. The Propain formula contains four main active ingredients. Two strong analgesics (pain killers) Paracetamol & Codeine Phosphate which get straight to work on your thumping headache / pain; Caffeine which works hard to speed up the analgesics; & Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride that tackles the nausea & vomiting. When taken early enough (first sign of migraine) Propain's fast effective relief can stop a migraine in its tracks so that it can't develop any further. It is also used to treat headaches, period pain, muscular aches & pains toothache & back-ache. Ingredients The active ingredients are paracetamol BP (400mg), codeine phosphate (10mg), diphenhydramine (5mg), caffeine (50mg). The other ingredients include methyl, ethyl, propyl & butyl parabens as preservatives. Directions Adults & Children over 12: One or two caplets, taken with water, every four hours as required.
