Kilkof Cough Linctus Kilkof Cough Linctus is a is soothing, warming oral solution, effective against dry tickly coughs. Kilkof also has a mild expectorant action. Directions For oral use. Shake bottle before use. Adults: Two 5ml spoonfuls Children 10 to 14 years: One 5ml spoonful. Children under 10 years: Not recommended. These doses may be repeated three times a day & at bedtime. Do not exceed the stated dose. Active Ingredients Each 4 ml contains: Cetylpyridinium Chloride BP 1.5mg, Benzoin Tincture BPC 1973 0.083ml, Ipecacuanha Tincture BP 0.1ml, Capsicum Tincture BPC 1973 0.022ml. Other Ingredients Treacle, Honey, Liquid Glucose, Sucrose, Tolu Tincture, Caramel (E150 (c)), Liquorice Liquid Extract, Chloroform, Acetic Acid, Anaesthetic Ether, Anise Oil, Methylparaben (E218), Xantham Gum (E145) & Purified Water. Warnings Do not use if hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. Do not use expiry date. Contact your doctor before taking this product if you are pregnant or breast-feeding or have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, i.e. glucose, fructose or sucrose. This medicinal product contains 3.6% vol ethanol (alcohol), equivalent to 0.18ml of ethanol per 5ml dose. Harmful to those suffering from alcoholism. Other groups sensitive to alcohol such as children & patients with liver disease or epilepsy should seek medical advice if unsure about taking this medicine. Also contain E128, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
