Kamillosan Ointment Kamillosan Ointment contains a unique formulation of natural chamomile making it an excellent treatment for sore nipples or nappy rash. Chamomile has an age old reputation of healing & soothing properties. Kamillosan recognises that breastfeeding is a new skill to learn & that sore nipples may sometimes occur whilst mothers perfect their latching-on technique. Kamillosan always recommends breastfeeding mums firstly contact their Health Care Professional to seek further advice until correct positioning has been established. Until they have mastered this, Kamillosan recommends Kamillosan Ointment containing natural chamomile, an excellent treatment for sore nipples. Ingredients The active ingredient is chamomile extract. The other ingredients are Beeswax, Emulsifying Wax, Anhydrous Lanolin, Yellow Soft Paraffin, Maize Oil & Mixed Esters of P-Hydroxybenzoic Acid (preservative). Directions Kamillosan ointment is for topical application as follows: Sore nipples in nursing mothers: after breast feeding. Nappy chafe & nappy rash: at change of nappy. Other conditions: twice daily as necessary.
