Cats & dogs have much lower enamel thickness than humans. That's why Dentagen Toothpaste has a lower abrasivity score to safeguard against damage to the enamel layer of the teeth, whilst providing sufficient mechanical cleaning action to remove plaque. Dentagen Toothpaste contains RF2, which is not bactericidal & allows the natural & healthy mouth & gut flora to exist without promoting dental disease. It inhibits plaque formation between brushing times
- no other toothpaste has this inhibitory effect. Dentagen Toothpaste is poultry flavoured & has been tested to ISO 11 609 standard. Every tube is packaged with a finger-brush to allow clients to initiate brushing their pet's teeth. Directions Using the finger brush supplied, apply the Dentagen Toothpaste to the gingival margin (gum line) of your pet's teeth, once a day. Start by gently brushing the outer surfaces of teeth at the back of the mouth, moving towards the front, before brushing the inner surfaces.
