The brandnew daylight
continuous light unit
especially designed for
the needs of
DigitalVideo. The HEDLER
DX15 has no forced air
cooling - means it suits
ideal for original sound
recordings. With it´s
metal halogen lamp 150 W
/ SE it produces a
flicker-free light with
approx. 5800 Kelvin.
Special feature - the
built-in
ElectronicBallast with
fault recognition for the
lamp. Designed for
professional use, the
lamp has an average
lifetime of approx. 6000
operating hours, the
ElectronicBallast of
approx. 60000 operating
hours! Another pro - the
HEDLER DX15s lamp
produces a continuous
light output power that
equates to a 600 Watts
standard Tungsten halogen
lamp. Besides this,
within it´s lighting
beam area it produces a
light beam (compared to a
traditional Tungsten
halogen light unit) that
shows a relatively low
temperature. Mainly
important for material
sensitive to heat,
simply more pleasing for
the people in front of
your camera while making
a video portrait. Keyword
lighting: to have the
light units well defined
lighting characteristic
is one thing, but - if
it suits the creative
idea - a variation can
create a totally
different mood and can
lead to a better picture!
Because of that the new
HEDLER DX 15 can be
equipped with nearly all
the latest Hedler
reflectors,
MaxiSoftboxes, reflex
umbrellas and
accessories. Due to this

ProDaylight 800 Air are
Metal Halide (HMI) base
continuous light sources,
which are dedicated to
work with most existing
line of Profoto’s Light
Shaping Tools. The very
efficient lamp provides
daylight colour
temperature, which is
ideal for many photo and
video shoots. Thanks to
higher efficiency and
light quality of Metal
Halide technology,
ProDaylight units are the
ideal light for your HD
videos. In addition,
ProDaylight units are
equipped with a state of
the art cooling system
which is designed to
eliminate noises to make
live sound recordings
easier. The new
ProDaylight units are
designed for heavy-duty
use, their metal
housing, ballasts and
all components are solid,
reliable and withstand
even the most demanding
shooting situations.
ProDaylight's also have
built-in Profoto’s
“Air” radio remote
capability, which gives
the user the capability
to activate or deactivate
and dim 50% of the light.
By using Profoto’s
Studio software, a user
can create and coordinate
a multiple lighting
setup, which includes
numerous units of flashes
and continuous lights
from the computers.
Flicker-free electronic
ballast with control of
ballast frequency enables
user to use ProDaylight
in low frame to high
frame per second video
shoots. The ballast
automatically adjust to
all 100V-240V/50-60Hz mains
supplies. ProDaylight is
designed to produce
higher efficiency and
light quality for both
photographers and
videographers. They
accept most of the actual
Profoto Light Shaping
Tools plus some new
