The main component of the
Softie mount is a one
piece rubber (actual
material: EPDM) diaphragm
shockmount. This unit is
extremely robust, and
has been tested in all
environment conditions to

Softie Mount comes in

on which microphone being

Windshields we make have
an internal bore of 32cm
(12-1/2") - Example:AKG

AT815b. These are the
longest microphones we
would recomend using a
Softie Mount for, simply
because the mount is
flexible & can not
support longer mics. For
longer mics, we would
only recomend a Full
Windshield System, and a
Modular suspension. The

provides a fast,
flexible and cost
effective solution for
ENG on camera microphones
This system will allow
the user to either hold
the mount with the pistol
grip handle. Or attach it

Shock Mount is designed
to reduce handling noise
when recording with
shotgun microphones. It
supports microphones with
a diameter of 19-20mm or
21-22.5mm using the
supplied interchangeable
mounts, and a handy
release lever on the
mount allows for quick
and easy adjustment of
the microphone angle.
Cable management is an
integral design feature
of the PG2 pistol grip,
with the cable running
through the handle
assembly to minimise any
handling noise or
clutter. Additional cable
security is provided on
either side of the rubber
