Hasselblad H5D-50c Camera System (No Lens) Hasselblad has raised the bar yet again concerning the captureof super high-quality images. It builds on the achievements and success of multi-shot capture technology with the H5D-50 MS and the liberating characteristics of the H5D-50c – the worlds first CMOS medium format camera. The H5D-50c MS allows still- life studio photography at moiré free 50Mpix resolution. Four shot technology exploits what the HC lenses have to offer, which is a very great deal in itself, and combines it with the latest CMOS capabilities to produce a quality that is hard to beat. From fine cars to miniature artworks and from delicate fabrics to diamonds – or quite simply where only the best reproduction is acceptable – the 50Mpix multi-shot image offers true color and an astonishing moiré free level of detail. As if that was not enough, this camera still claims all theadvantages of the H5D line – True Focus, Ultra Focus, Digital Lens Correction plus being able to shoot regardless of lighting conditions as a result of the very high ISO settings that are capable of unforeseen high quality with remarkably little noise. These top of the range features make the H5D-50c MS such an outstanding camera choice – a studio workhorse to produce tremendous quality in a controlled environment to doubling up as a top flight, hand held single-shot camera for shots on the move. Versatility was always a Hasselblad cornerstone and remains so. This is the camera that takes care of almost any assignment to produce the kind of quality that Hasselblad is world famous for. Single-shot The key to the single-shot quality from a CMOS sensor is the use of a Bayer Mosaic filter. This is a specific filter layout that is used in conjunction with software to interpret the color data from the sensor. A single-shot system delivers one colour per pixel, and the remaining two channels must be estimated and calculated using a best guess strategy. This is done in Hasselblad cameras by using algorithms that optimize color rendition and sharpness without dis turbing the perception of the human eye by the artefacts always present in raw single shot captures. Multi-shot The advanced Hasselblad Multishot (4-shot) technology eliminates the issues that the single-shot interpolation routine can sometimes introduce, such as moiré and color rendering issues, by physically moving the sensor 1 pixel at a time, thereby capturing the red, green and blue information in each individual pixel point and then combining these captures into one. This results in a true color and moiré free capture with increased level of detail as there is no need for interpolation at all. Ultimate Still Imaging High precision piezo-electrical actuators control movements of the sensor in one pixel increments. By combining four shots, offset by a combination of one pixel increments, the colors, Red, Green and Blue of each point are obtained with a double resolution in both the X and Y directions. The result is an astonishing 50Mpixel full color image with no artifacts, such as moiré. Outstanding image quality The use of multi-shot capture delivers true color accuracy and exact definition of detail. With still subject matter the 4-shot capture mode will deliver an image that displays a very clear boost in quality. True Focus and Absolute Position Lock True Focus helps solve one of the most lingering challenges that faces serious photographers today: true, accurate focusing through out the image field. Without multi-point auto-focus a typical auto- focus camera can only correctly measure focus on a subject that is in the center of the image. When a photographer wants to focus on a subject outside the center area, they have to lock focus on the subject and then re-compose the image. In short distances especially, this re-composing causes focus error, as the plane of focus sharpness follows the camera’s movement, perpendicular to the axis of the lens. The traditional solution for most DSLR cameras has been to equip the camera with a multi-point AF sensor. These sensors allow the photographer to fix an off-center focus point on an off-center subject, which is then focused correctly. Such multi-point AF solutions are often tedious and inflexible to work with. Due to the physics of an SLR-camera, the off-center focus points that are offered are all clustered relatively close to the center of the image. To set focus outside of this center area, the photographer is still forced to focus first, and then shift the camera to reframe, with the resulting loss of focus as a result. To overcome this problem, Hasselblad has used modern yaw rate sensor technology to measure angular velocity in an innovative way. The result is the new Absolute Position Lock (APL) processor, which forms the foundation of Hasselblad’s True Focus feature
The Hasselblad H5D-50c – a groundbreaking medium format camera using CMOS image sensor technology – represents a huge leap forward in camera development and will allow photographers to shoot with the ultimate in image quality, regardless of lighting conditions. Hasselblad H5D-50c Camera Body with Wi-Fi True Focus and Absolute Position Lock True Focus helps solve one of the most lingering challenges that faces serious photographers today: true, accurate focusing through - out the image field. Without multi-point auto-focus a typical auto - focus camera can only correctly measure focus on a subject that is in the center of the image. The result is the new Absolute Position Lock (APL) processor, which forms the foundation of Hasselblad’s True Focus feature. The APL processor accurately logs camera movement during any re-composing, then uses these exact measurements to calculate the necessary focus adjustment, and issues the proper commands to the lens’s focus motor so it can compensate. The APL processor computes the advanced positional algorithms and carries out the required focus corrections at such rapid speed that no shutter lag occurs. The H5D’s firmware then further perfects the focus using the precise data retrieval system found on all H System lenses. IMPORTANT FEATURES • 50 Mpixel CMOS sensor with amazing image quality • Excellent high ISO performance (ISO 100 - 6400) • Longer shutter speeds up to 34 minutes. Fujifilm GFX 50S: Medium Format Digital Camera - Body Only The GFX is an all-new mirrorless camera system that revolutionizes the concept of medium-format cameras. Fujifilm GFX 50S combines an extraordinary sensor, processor and design with exclusive new range of FUJINON GF lenses – giving users the ultimate photography experience. With regards to functionality, the camera follows in the footsteps of the X Series by featuring numerous physical buttons and dials, and is designed with an ergonomic grip, shaped carefully and optimized for the camera body and lenses. This model becomes Fujifilm’s first model to use a detachable electronic viewfinder, which you can remove when using an external monitor or wanting to make the system even lighter. In addition, an optional adapter makes it possible to fit the EVF in any angle, giving greater freedom in the choice of shooting angle. Other optional accessories that will be released at the same time, include the Vertical Battery Grip, which enhances functionality when shooting in the portrait orientation. The camera also supports tethered shooting, which has become an essential part of the professional photographers’ workflow, and will be compatible with various RAW conversion application software. A medium format sensor with 51.4 MP and an area approx. 1.7x that of a full size sensor is adopted. This sensor exerts its true power when used for large format commercial prints and outdoor billboards, or for shooting majestic landscape photos or archives of historical documents. Also, when compared to a full size sensor with an equivalent number of pixels, both resolution and sensitivity are dramatically better due to the larger size of each individual pixel. As a result, the great textures created by the excellent tone reproduction unique to large size sensors combined with a three-dimensional effect enables extremely high quality photography. Features: Fujifilm’s photographic image quality: Upon encountering a scene that evokes an emotional response, we tend to remember the atmosphere, the emotions felt, and the colors of the scene. Fujifilm carried out many years of research and development in an attempt to faithfully reproduce the colors in your mind. Obtaining the ultimate in photo image quality: GFX uses the new large-diameter “G Mount” and incorporates a large 43.8 × 32.9mm CMOS sensor. Boasting the effective pixel count of 51.4 million, the camera delivers superior sharpness and image quality that will satisfy professional photographers shooting commercial, fashion or fine-art landscapes. HASSELBLAD X1D-50C Compact Mirrorless Medium Format Camera. Key Features 50 megapixel medium format sensor ISO up to 25, 600 3FR and JPEG formats Dual SD Cards USB 3.0 2.36 megapixel viewfinder Wi-fi and GPS HD 2K video Mini HDMI & Audio Designed to be the smallest and lightest mirrorless digital medium format camera possible, whilst still maintaining Hasselblad's very high build and image quality standards, the result is barely larger than smaller format mirrorless cameras. Compact Mirrorless Body Design The Hasselblad X1D is the worlds first mirrorless digital medium format camera. Weighing less than half of a conventional medium format camera and crafted from quality durable materials, it takes design inspiration from the original V System. Weather and dust sealed to stand up to challenging conditions, delivering the revered image quality Hasselblad has pioneered since 1941. Its mirrorless body design and central lens shutter allows shooting noise to be kept very low allowing image capture without disturbing your subject. 50MP CMOS Sensor The X1D will ship with the tried and tested 50MP CMOS sensor. The 44 x 33mm chip offers a considerable improvement in image capture quality compared with full frame and other smaller format mirrorless cameras. To allow photographers using this sensor to extract the maximum image quality available the sensor is capable of delivering up to 14 stops of dynamic range. Coupled with the extended shutter speed and ISO range, this sensor is capable of recording breathtaking detail even in poor lighting conditions. High Resolution Rear Touch Display The new 3.0" rear display boasts touch capability along with user customisation options including assigning nine favourite functions to touch buttons. The resolution is 920K dots and the image display performance delivers clear, colour accurate image reviews and high performance Liveview. The new smartphone style, icon based UI speeds access to even little used functions ensuring full use of the X1D's capabilities. High Resolution Electronic Viewfinder The Hasselblad X1D-50c is equipped with a 2.36MP electronic viewfinder. The display has a fast refresh rate, wide contrast range (230:1) and 24-bit colour output delivering a crisp, accurate representation of the capture area. The information within the viewfinder displays a wide range of information including aperture, shutter speed, shots remaining and exposure level. The eyestart sensor built in to the eye cup automatically switches the display from the rear screen as you place your eye to the viewfinder. After listening to the feedback from Hasselblad users we have implemented different image capture modes, including a square format (delivering a 39MP capture) and finally the much requested XPan panoramic format. The viewfinder display adjusts to show the correct image area for the chosen capture ratio with unused areas blacked out. The X1D offers 3 custom settings on the mode dial that allows the user to customise the camera settings. For example, you can set how the AF should work, which exposure mode should be used and what ISO setting should be used for a particular assignment. This way you can easily switch between certain behaviours during a shoot. Phocus The simplest way of processing your Hasselblad RAW files, ensuring the best corrections and extraction of the finest detail possible. In conjunction with the release of the X1D camera system, our raw conversion software has been further enhanced with additional tools. Perspective adjustment has been added for converging vertical corrections to complement the adjustment layers added in version 3.0. Lens corrections for the X system lens range including those for HC/HCD lenses on the X1D have been added to the already extensive range available. HD Video Capture The X1D is capable of capturing HD (2K) video at 25 fps. You are able to export your movie captures as H.264 files (Mpeg) and play them back in Phocus or other compatible software. Coupled with the HDMI and audio facilities on the new camera, the capture of high quality video output is simplicity itself. Enhanced Connectivity The X1D is equipped with a host of enhanced connectivity options. Dual Card Slots The X1D has dual SD memory card slots to maximise storage options and flexibility. This type of media card is an industry standard with very good data transfer rates and wide ranging compatibility with existing card readers. Storage options include Save captures to card 1, then when it is full use card 2. Future firmware updates will implement additonal options: Save captures to both cards simultaneously as a backup Save RAW captures to card 1 and JPEG captures to card 2 USB 3.0 Type-C Connector A USB 3.0 Type-C connector allows the user to connect to their chosen computer system without the need to use an adapter. It also delivers very fast transfer rates of more than five times that of Firewire, ensuring tethered liveview or stills capture is an experience to be enjoyed. Mini HDMI & Audio I/O ports The addition of a mini HDMI port along with the associated input/output ports enables videographers to display the video feed on a larger external monitor for audio and video files. Wi-Fi & GPS Wi-Fi is included as standard supporting b, g, n and ac standards on both 2.4 and 5Ghz where permitted. This allows previews of the captured images to be viewed on an iOS device along with remote camera control and a 30fps liveview feed. GPS is also included as a standard feature enabling geotagging of your images at capture. Superior Image Quality The X1D system is comprised of a number of exceptional components which, when combined, results in something truly unique- Hasselblad Image Quality. Delivering state-of-the-art image quality is - and has always been - our primary goal. These are the reasons a Hasselblad X1D system delivers exceptional file quality. Software Integration Linking all parts together Phocus is the software package that links all our great integration together.
