Excellent weekend with music eveining on Friday, wine tour and tasting with lunch on Saturday and camping for the weekend. Venue beautiful, staff excellent and very enthusiatic. Brilliant weekend

From start to finish, hosts made us feel welcome, first rate and informative chat about how the vineyard came about & operates. Lunch platter was lovely, sunshine helped of course but even when the next tour arrived, we felt no pressure to leave. Thorough enjoyed our day

We were made to feel very welcome immediately upon arrival. The lovely marquee setting for our wine tasting was very relaxing . Not the first wine tasting we have done, but perhaps the most thorough for explaining the process, especially how the vines are looked after. The addition of a tasting platter was a first for us and we thoroughly enjoyed our quite substantial pre- ordered lunches. Would recommend as a gift.

The vineyard and brewery tour, which we added on the day. Was a really lovely day out. Chris and Gillian are fantastic knowledgable hosts who are so welcoming. We opted for the light lunch and was not disappointed. The afternoon teas also looked delicious. On the day there was a small local food festival as well to add to the day. Lots of beer and wine to taste and some lovely gifts to bring home. The location is stunning so peaceful and even had a small caravan field if you want to bring your own accommodation. We chose to stay at the Bay Horse in Green Hammerton which is only 3 miles away. We had no problem getting a taxi both ways and ended up sharing with other people that were on the tour. If you want a different day out then I would strongly recommend Yorkshire Heart Vineyard and Brewery tour.

Wine made in Yorkshire from grapes grown in Yorkshire who would have thunk it! Fish platter very good, wines great with snacks during talk and tasting session. For a fiver each we also went round microbrewery and tried a variety of beers. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. All photos on missus mobile as I was busy eating and drinking .... as you do.
