- 2013 Now in its forth year the appropriately named Slayblade has become a monster, point it at anything on the mountain & it will step up to the challenge. For 2013 K2 have introduced their Tweekend technology, which combines a mellow rocker with the natural rise of the tip & tail, to further enhance what was already one of the most stable rides in snowboarding. The Tweekend increases the available surface area on the tip & tail making buttering intuitive & landings rock solid. The Flatline profile of the Slayblade is brought to life with the addition of K2’s Ollie Bar, a pre-cambered bar of carbon, Kevlar & glass located in the centre of the board that increases resistance as force is applied to it, like a springboard. The Slayblade also comes with a super fast base, Carbon Web II, Bambooyah blend core & Harsh Mellow dampening to further increase your riding pleasure. A performance shred stick for intermediate to advanced riders who like to ride hard.
