The Raleigh Spirit is a classic city bike updated to include a lightweight aluminium twin tubed low step thru frame. The Raleigh Classic frame is made from 6061 alloy tubing & the low step frame allows for easy mounting & dismounting. Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub gears with a rotational shifter give a wide ration of gears with the 42 tooth alloy chainset, so you have all the gears needed to cruise about town or along country lanes. Light action alloy V brakes deliver consistent braking performance. The wheelset on the Raleigh Spirit is 700C lightweight robust double walled rims with nutted hubs & 38C colour co-ordinated easy rolling city tyres. Raleigh Classic swept back bars & short reach stem give a nice relaxed riding position & the leather effect stitched grips add some extra comfort. Finished with a comfort colour co-ordinated saddle, aluminium micro-adjust seatpost, colour co-ordinated steel mudguards & chainguard, rear carrier & front wicker style basket the Raleigh Spirit is a real timeless classic design with modern components for smooth functionality & uncomplicated cycling. Weight of complete bike is Approx. 17 kgs 17” frame suitable for inside leg range of 27” to 32” 19” frame suitable for inside leg range of 30” to 34” All our bikes are supplied with parts such as chain guard, front & rear brakes, bell & reflectors although the photographs may not show these.
