Designed for isolation, of the major upper back muscles including Trapezius & Latissimus Dorsi, but also allowing development of the secondary muscles such as the Teres major/minor in a fi xed position using correct form. The prone bench is the perfect compliment to many sports performance centres, where the sport it self involves lots of pulling within game time. Sports for instance like Rowing, Rugby & Martial Arts all have a large emphasis on the pulling motion, so it makes sense to develop strength in muscles associated further.
