RHS CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2013 " Mahonia eurybracteata subsp. ganpinensis ' Soft Caress' has been named the Plant of the Year 2013.

NEW for 2012! New & still rarely available, this is the first mahonia without spiny leaves. Very limited stocks for 2013, so don't miss out.

Compact habit & elegant, tropical-looking foliage make this unusual small shrub a very choice addition to any garden. Short spikes of yellow flower appear in August & last through to October. these are followed by attractive blue berries, that give other Mahonias the common name of Grape Oregon.

Hardy to -12oC & easy to grow doing especially well in light, humus rich soils.
