The four buttons on the front of the monitor allow you to adjust the volume of the speaker & to take a screen snapshot or record the video from the camera directly to you monitor unit. The monitor screen also displays important information such as battery level, signal strength & also time & date & any timers you have set for feeding or nappy changing, it can also be used for a slide show screen to display your photos or video records that have been captured. The camera display screen displays important information like its battery life (if being used with batteries) the signal strength & the temperature (which is also displayed on the parent unit), the buttons on the front of the camera allow you to control the volume of the speaker, the night light & the lullabies, these can also be controlled remotely by the parent unit. The camera also has a built in speaker & the parent unit has a microphone to allow you to speak to your baby through the parent unit to soothe your child.
