Painting (This acrylic abstract is painted on 2-inch deep cradled hardboard panel. Midnight blue is shaped by pearlized aqua lines of an irregular-sized grid that is, in turn, cut into by spheres & more fluid lines. The rectangle in the upper central region is copper & bright magenta is in the smaller rectangle below it. Areas of lavender, pale aqua, light rose & copper & white cut into the middle center & lower right side, & there's much random marking & some dripping paint. The title refers to Kahneman's theories of two kinds of thought, one that is more logical & rational than the other, & another that is perhaps quicker & more intuitive. The combination of regular lines & irregular marks are my way of representing those ideas visually. The cradle is stained & sealed & the painting is ready for hanging without a frame (not desirable). It is signed & dated & ships with a Certificate of Authenticity. ) 60.96 × 60.96 × 5.08 cm (unframed) / 60.96 × 60.96 cm (actual image size)
