Drawing (“ Nature’s Gold” was inspired by a photo of two Mustangs of the Sand Wash Basin in Colorado. Known to Mustang followers as Can Wakan & Bobby... they are actually brother & sister. As soon as I saw the reference photo, I knew I had to capture this tender moment in a painting. A portion of the sale of this painting will be donated to the Sand Wash Basin Mustang group to help protect these horses & keep them wild & free.
