Painting (At top & right, a violet peeks through top layers of turquoise, blue & pearly pale green. At the lower portion of this small painting (8x 8 inches on cradled birch board), a diagonal slope cuts across & scoops above a gold layer. That layer cracks & slips to reveal the underpainting; small gold circles (as if other worlds in this slightly planetary ""scene"") spin.
