EWC Hot Water Auto Water Softener HWE18 This European Water Care Systems (EWC) automatic softener is generally suited to medium volume dishwashers & untensil machines using hot water. This automatic softener only requires the salt to be re-filled every 3 to 4 weeks. Capacity range between regenerations is 1303 Litres & 4189 Litres dependent on water hardness & usage. The unit has dual water flow sensors & will supply hot or cold water on demand from the dishwasher. If sensors detect a cold water demand then the softener will soften cold water, if a hot water demand is needed the softener will soften hot water. The whole unit is self contained. The frequency of regeneration is controlled by setting the pins on the skipper wheel. Once set, the softener will automatically regenerate at the pre-determined interval normally at 2am.
