New Zealand re-invented the Sauvignon grape in the late 1980's & has not looked back since. The past 20 years has seen an ever broadening list of indiividual domaines offering their wares to an eager UK wine drinking public. Prices have, however, remained at the premium end of the scale. Delightfully in recent years has we seen the arrival of better priced wines & best of all, like this fresh example, they retain all of the enticing tropical fruit aromas & flavours that we have come to expect.
