Made from a cleverly put-together blend of Garganega, Chardonnay & Riesling, this unusual mix of grapes is from organically grown vines in the Veneto region, just outide the town of Soave. We were shown this wine by our friends from Fasoli Gino because they had just bought the vineyard (being one of the very few organic vineyards in the region that they could add to their already organic estate) & challenged us to name the grapes. We failed but we loved the appetizing blend of ripe pear fruit with just the right touch of lively fruit acidity (probably the Riesling element in the mix) & so we came to an agreement. We would help clear the stock if they came up with a decent price. Imagine that you have just spent £9.99, taste the wine, & feel satisfied that you have done well. Now re-think since you know it cost you £6.99. Enjoy!
