Product Description

The eight hectares (19 acres) of vineyard are planted on slopes over-looking the Garonne, which has a major, steadying influence on their micro-climate. The estate was bought in 1994 by Marie-Dominique & Jean Watrin, who promptly set about restructuring the vineyards & rebuilding the winery. The wines are aged in oak (1/3rd new) for between 12 & 16 months. Although the vineyards are planted to 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon & 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2009 has around 85% Merlot
