Oronzo Alo founded this winery some 15 years ago &, with the use of modern technology, he has set about creating some of the most notable wines of the region. He specialises in the local Aglianico grape which, in this case, he has blended 50/50 with Cabernet Sauvignon & matured it in French oak casks for 9 months. The result is a pleasing hybrid of the wildness & astringency of the Aglianico & the substance & depth of Cabernet.
