After creating sports shoes in his mother's kitchen, Adolph Dassler persuaded the US sprinter Jesse Owens, to wear them during the 1936 Olympic Games. Adidas are probably one of the most well-known sporting brands in the world and are at the forefront of cutting edge product and clothing design.
