Through a tutorial, demonstration & those all-important tasting sessions, youll be taught how whiskies are made & how to appreciate their individual flavours & characteristics. This masterclass focuses on a selection of malts & is hosted by a whisky expert who will transform any amateur into an expert. Then you will be taken through a demonstration & a few tasting sessions. Negotiate the rapids using a two man inflatable raft. You'll be met by your guide & kitted up in wetsuits, waterproof jackets, buoyancy aids & helmets. After a whitewater safety brief you'll be introduced to the orca inflatable & your orca paddle partner. Once on the water the calmer sections of the river are used to practice the skills which will be needed later in the day when some of the harder rapids are attempted. The guide will be on the river with the clients to offer advice & instruction throughout the session, however you will be in your own kayak or on the bank. - this is the unbelievable thrill of white water rafting! Only the strength & determination of you & your team will get you through the rapids. On arrival you will be kitted out with safety equipment. You will then be given a thorough safety briefing & will be professionally looked after by one of the qualified guides before getting onto the river. The water grade varies depending on the time of year. After your runs you will return to the centre to change into warm dry clothes. You may be required to help carry the raft & equipment during your experience. Please be aware that this activity can be cancelled at short notice due to water levels & this should be kept in mind when booking any overnight accommodation.
