This tour for two & overnight stay offers an unforgettable experience to explore England's premier organic vineyard, which also happens to be the largest & oldest organic vineyard in the UK! You will stay in The Brickwall Hotel which is available seven days a week & is a 16th century Tudor Mansion in the heart of the East Sussex countryside. It is situated 5 minutes from the Vineyard. The Brickwall Hotel will require a £10 supplement fee for a Friday or Saturday night booking. Start your experience by checking in at the shop where you will receive a map & a sheet of information explaining the different vine varieties & the organic/biodynamic grape growing methods used at Sedlescombe. You can then take a leisurely stroll through three beautiful vineyards set in the ' High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' & experience organic grape growing at first-h&. The trail also takes in three acres of ancient English woodl&. On your return you'll head to the Winery where a guide will show you the equipment used to make Sedlescombe's international award-winning wines, & explain some of the fascinating processes involved. From there it's on to the ' Bar-in-the-Barn' where you can delight in tasting the full range of these home-grown organic & biodynamic wines, including whites, red, & fizz as well as fruit wines & delicious liqueurs. To round off your visit you will be served a delightful cream tea complete with fresh strawberries or a Ploughman’s Platter Lunch with a glass of either Sedlescombe Rose Sparkling or Regent Red! Finish your tour with a bottle of 2013 Red or 2013 Old Vine White wine to take home.
