Children's Lollipop Making Master Class

This experience starts with a warm welcome & a drink of still or sparkling water or squash for all the participants. Then it’s time for the part that everyone will be waiting for where the children put on their aprons & get stuck into working with the sweet stuff.  The workshop is led by someone who may have every child’s dream job: an expert confectioner who spends all day up to their elbows in sweets, sugar & flavourings making candy creations that are designed to be delicious. They will explain how the candies are made & give the children some insight into the science behind the sweets.  The process of heating up the sugar until it is a syrupy goo is fascinating & then there’s the addition of flavourings & different colours which make it come to life. The children will get to make their own rainbow coloured sweets & be able to ask any questions they may have about the process.  At the end of the session, each child will be presented with a certificate to confirm that they have mastered the art of making candy, & of course take home the lollipop that they made along with a special goody bag containing a personalised lollipop & a 100g jar of Birthday Mix sweets as well.
