Hoo Farm Entrance And Afternoon Tea For Two
Enjoy a day at Hoo Farm surrounded by many furry, feathered and friendly characters, and the 32 acres of woodland they call home. Once you've explored Wallaby Woods, paid a visit to the Meerkats and dared to step foot in the Reptile enclosure, head over to the cow shed tearooms to savour a delicious afternoon tea. Hoo Farm welcomes you to a day full of animal encounters. Spend your morning working up an appetite before enjoying your afternoon tea. You could begin your day by meeting the Farm's mischievous Meerkats, and their fellow African natives, before heading over to the home of all things flying and feathery; The Parrotphernalia. Just around the corner, you'll also find the best of Bizarre British Wildlife enclosure, which includes raccoons, skunks and fishing cats, many of
whom have been rescued. Nearby, ostriches, coati and alpacas relax on the Shropshire Savannah, as reptiles scuttle within the River and Rainforest area. Once you've paid a visit to creatures both big and small, make your way to the former 200 year old cow shed, which has been transformed into a quaint, 1940s theme tea room, for your afternoon tea. Here you'll enjoy homemade cakes and scones alongside freshly made sandwiches, from tuna and cucumber to traditional beef. You'll also sample delicious homemade cakes and scones whilst settling down with a lovely pot of tea (or another hot drink if you prefer).
