Three individual people go up in the aircraft together for 18 minutes with each of them to have the opportunity to go on the controls for 6 minutes. This is your chance to find out just how it feels to take the controls of a helicopter with the Helicopter Circuit Challenge
- a perfect introduction to flying which has been designed for families wishing to take to the skies! The Helicopter Circuit Challenge will allow you to have a little insight into piloting an aircraft & the importance of navigation & observation. This lesson is a highly recommended first step for anyone seriously considering obtaining their Private Pilot’s Licence or just to experience great fun. Upon arrival at the Flying School, one of the experienced ground crew will give you a 30 minute technical briefing about the lesson, including an introduction to each of the controls of the helicopter. Once the brief has finished you’ll all be taken to the helicopter & chocks away! You will be allowed to take the controls & actually fly the aircraft! You’ll be in a group with 2 other people where you will all take it in turns to have 6 minutes each at the controls with a total flight time of 18 minutes. Once the lesson has been completed, you will be given a certificate of achievement. You will be required to take two forms of identification with you on the day, photo identification & proof of your address.
