Coco Chocolate is an Artisan Chocolatier based in Edinburgh that specializes in making single origin, ethically traded, & most importantly delicious, chocolate. As well as their two gorgeous shops, they run a specialist Chocolate School in Summerhall, Edinburgh, where their amazingly talented Chocolatiers pass on their craft! Your two hour class for one in the fun & friendly environment of Coco Chocolatier’s Chocolate School in Summerhall, Edinburgh will be full to the brim of chocolate making. Every chocoholic will be in heaven! If you've never tasted h&-made chocolate created from the freshest ingredients before, then you can expect this class to be a revelation to your taste-buds! Your class will be led by amazingly talented chocolatiers in small groups of up to ten students to ensure individual attention, as well as a welcoming group environment. Your session will begin with a brief introduction to cocoa & the history of chocolate. You will discuss the tree & its delicious fruit & cultivation & then the chocolate making begins! You’ll learn how to hand temper chocolate on marble, make moulded chocolates, fruit filled chocolates, & infused broken chocolate & hand tempered chocolate shells. You’ll also produce filled chocolates & caramels. To finish, you’ll be encouraged to taste everything you make during the class, not that you’ll need much convincing. At the end of the class, you will receive a selection of chocolate made on the day.
