Product Description

Take to the skies to see Brighton & the beautiful south coast as you have never seen them before. Glide up gently to 450ft in the futuristic glass viewing pod, which was conceived & designed by Marks Barfield Architects, creators of the London Eye. Admire 360-degree views across Brighton & Hove, the South Downs National Park, the UNESCO Biosphere &, on the clearest days, all the way along the coast to the Isle of Wight (49 miles away). The glass viewing pod is fully enclosed & spacious – it’s 10 times the size of a London Eye capsule. There is room for up to 175 visitors to stand at the edge of the pod & look out, or to move around & see the view from different angles. The Sky Bar on board the pod serves Nyetimber sparkling wine & other drinks from Sussex, so you can raise a glass of something special while taking in the views. The friendly in-flight crew will welcome you on board, point out landmarks & answer any questions. The pod is heated & air-conditioned to ensure year-round comfort & it is fully accessible for wheelchair users.A viewing map is available & a multi-lingual app can be downloaded before you board. The app has ‘pre-flight’ information about how British Airways i 360 was built, as well as an in-app viewing map & a children’s section with fun facts & a treasure hunt. The content can be enjoyed in a choice of languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese & Mandarin. At the end of your flight, the pod descends into the beach building at the base of the tower, with terraces opening straight out onto the promenade. There you can enjoy delicious food at West Beach Bar & Kitchen, browse the shop to find stylish gifts inspired by British Airways i 360 & the surrounding environment, visit the construction exhibition or host an event in the beachfront events spaces.
